Cybersecurity consulting

We support your security decisions: architecture, investment priorities, regulatory compliance, with an independent expert view, on your side.

Definition

What is cybersecurity consulting?

Cybersecurity consulting is tailored support to help you make the right security decisions, without necessarily having to build a dedicated team in-house.

Security architecture, technology choices, budget prioritization, regulatory compliance (NIS2, GDPR)... we act as an independent expert, by your side, to challenge your choices and secure your projects from the design stage onward.

Whether you need a one-off opinion on a specific project, part-time CISO support, or a regular follow-up of your security posture, we adapt our support to your context and your challenges.

Methodology

How we work with you

Every engagement starts with understanding your context, and ends with a concrete, prioritized action plan.

1. Scoping

We start by understanding your business context, your challenges, and your technical and regulatory constraints.

2. Diagnosis

We assess your current security posture: organizational, technical, and regulatory.

3. Recommendations

We prioritize actions based on their impact and feasibility, into a clear roadmap.

4. Follow-up

We follow up over time on the implementation, with regular check-ins and course correction.

Why consulting

What it brings you

Concrete benefits

  • Faster, better-informed decisions, backed by an independent expert opinion
  • Fewer costly mistakes: security flaws are far cheaper to fix at the design stage than once in production
  • Peace of mind on your regulatory obligations (GDPR, NIS2, sector-specific requirements)
  • A security budget spent on what actually reduces your risk, not on generic recommendations

When to call us

  • Before launching a new project (cloud migration, new application, infrastructure overhaul)
  • Ahead of a fundraising round, an audit, or a due diligence process where security will be scrutinized
  • When a client, a partner, or an insurer starts asking security questions you can't fully answer yet
  • When you need a regular, independent sounding board for your security decisions, without hiring full-time
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is consulting billed? Plus icon Minus icon

Depending on your needs, we work on a fixed-fee basis for a specific mission (an architecture review, a compliance assessment...), or on a recurring basis for ongoing support such as part-time CISO services. We provide a customized quote once we understand your needs.

How is consulting different from a penetration test or a code audit? Plus icon Minus icon

A penetration test or a code audit looks for vulnerabilities in an existing system or application. Consulting is broader: it covers strategy, architecture, decision-making, and organizational aspects of your security, often upstream of any technical testing.

What is part-time CISO support? Plus icon Minus icon

It's a recurring engagement where we act as your security point of contact on a regular basis (a few days per month, for example), without the cost of a full-time hire. We help you steer your security roadmap, review decisions, and stay ahead of your compliance obligations.

Do you work remotely or on-site? Plus icon Minus icon

Both. Most consulting engagements can be carried out remotely, but we're also available on-site for workshops, architecture reviews, or steering committees when it makes sense.

Do we need an in-house IT team to work with you? Plus icon Minus icon

No. We regularly work with companies that have no dedicated security or even IT team, as well as with organizations that have their own IT department and want an independent, expert second opinion.

How long does a consulting engagement last? Plus icon Minus icon

It depends on your needs: a one-off architecture review can take a few days, while part-time CISO support is typically set up over several months, renewed based on your evolving needs.
